Welcome to Core Connexion! Our classes are suitable for all ability and experience levels. We offer Reformer and Mat Pilates classes and workshops throughout the year, make sure to keep an eye on the timetable. We encourage you to come at least 2 times per week to maximise the benefits of Pilates. You’ve got this!

I have never done reformer pilates before, do you cater for all abilities?

Yes! Our expert instructors will always give an alternative for those less advanced.

Can I attend Core Connexion while pregnant?

While everyone's different we'd strongly recommend you seek medical advice before exercising while pregnant. Get in touch before booking your first class to discuss and let the instructor know of your pregnancy when you arrive for class.

How long is the class?

All our sessions are 55 minutes long, leaving time to cool down and clean the equipment after use.

How can I book?

All our classes and private sessions can be booked online or in the studio.

If your preferred class is fully booked, you can add yourself to the waitlist to try your luck at grabbing a last-minute spot.

What do I need to bring?

Wear comfortable exercise clothing. Grip socks are required on the reformers.

These are available for purchase at the studio.

We sell water but you're welcome to bring your own; we will happily refill your bottles at reception.

What happens if I’m late to class?

If you are more than 5 minutes late, the instructor has the right to refuse you entry into the class and you will forfeit your credit. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we are not allowed to let you into class on the grounds of Health & Safety and you will forfeit your credit.

Note: Wait-list clients sometimes show up in the hope of getting a late space in class. If you are moree than 5 minutes late then we will give your space to any waiting clients.

What happens when I’m injured?

If you're injured, we'd strongly recommend you seek medical advice before exercising.Get in touch before booking your first class to discuss and let the instructor know of your injury when you arrive for class. They'll advise you on whether your injury will affect the class and advise on alternative moves you can do.

What if I need to cancel?

You can change or cancel your class bookings up to 12 hours before the start of the class.

If you cancel within 12 hours you will forfeit your class credit.

What is the minimum age requirement in order to participate in your class?

You must be at least 16 years old to participate in our classes.

What are the studio’s opening hours?

Core Connexion is open 7 days a week. You can view opening hours for both Reading and Wokingham on the Contact page

What is the Pilates class size?

Reading: Classes have space for up to 10 people.

Wokingham: Classes have space for up to 8 people.

What should I wear to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothes that allow for a full range of movement.

Avoid baggy clothing, as it can get caught in the machine. Fitted leggings and stretchy tops are ideal.

Grip socks are essential for safety and extra traction, these can be purchase at the studio.

Where Can I Park?

Reading Studio:

There are parking bays on Kings Road and Abbey Street, both of which are close to the studio.  

Additionally, here are two convenient paid car parks within walking distance: Riverside Car Park (RG1 2AG) and Queens Car Park (RG1 4BE).

Wokingham Studio: 

There are three paid-for car parks close to the studio: Elms Road (RG40 2AA), Carnival Swimming Pool (RG40 2AF) and Denmark Street (RG40 2BB).

Can I Bring a Guest?

Yes of course! 

Guests can purchase one off sessions on our website, or all Club, Cult & Complete members receive a monthly Guest Passes.

Do You Offer Gift Cards?

Yes, we do!

Gift cards are the perfect way to share the benefits of reformer Pilates with your loved ones. Whether it's for a single session, a class pack, or even private lessons, our vouchers make a thoughtful and healthy gift for any occasion.

Can I Freeze my Membership?

Freezes are available only to recurring monthly members.

You can freeze your membership in 7 day blocks for up to 4 weeks per calendar year.

We require at least 10 working days' notice to process a freeze. During the freeze period, all membership access will be paused.

How Do I Manage My Bookings?

We recommend downloading the Momence app to manage all your bookings and purchases.

How Does The Waitlist Work?

You can join the waitlist up to two hours before a class starts. If a spot opens up, you’ll be automatically added to the session.

You can remove yourself at any time, but if you’re added to the class, our standard cancellation policy applies.

Can I Bring My Child With Me While I Attend A Class?

We have a strict no children policy in the studio for safety reasons so please leave the little ones at home.

Can I Book The Studio for Exclusive Hire?

What Times are Private Sessions Available?

Reading: As the Reading Studio has a separate Private Studio, private sessions are available whenever our Instructors have availability.

Semi-Private Sessions (2-3 people) are facilitated between the daily studio class schedule.

Wokingham: We facilitate private sessions in between the daily studio class schedule, typically weekdays between 11am – 5pm or weekends from 1pm, these are bookable in 1-hour sessions.
